9-not-need-happy

“You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of.  You will never truly live if you are forever looking for the meaning of life.”
―Albert Camus

So many of us are always searching…
Why are we searching?  We are Craving4More.

Yet, in all this searching, I believe we miss out on the very things for which we are looking.  We miss out on life ~ on living!

In order to truly reach a state of contentedness, it’s important to SKIP these 9 Things You Do NOT Need to Be Happy.
Yes, skip, neglect, STOP trying.

I’m a “doer.”  Skip, neglect, STOP?  These words are not in my vocabulary.  Backing off is a challenge for me.

So for now:

I choose happiness today by taking life moment by moment, complaining very little, and being thankful for the little things that mean a lot.

What do you choose today, and the next day, and the next?

  1. True thoughts to live by. I feel blessed to have been following this train of thought and life choices without even being aware of it.
    Possibly your best post ever!!

  2. How apropos! Reaffirms how I try to live my life but don’t always succeed. Great post.

    1. The best any of us can do is STOP TRYING and just do! Gratitude. Simply express gratitude and thanksgiving for any and every situation and circumstance in life. It’s all a gift.
You ARE succeeding, believe it or not!
