The year is rapidly coming to an end.

It’s amazing to me how as I grow older, time truly does fly – faster and faster every year, every month, every week, every day, and every moment.  Time passes in the blink of an eye.

As a child, it seemed as though a season could last an eternity.  A week, a day, an hour felt both endless and infinite.  I believe, in our youth, we take precious time for granted.

No more.  I have grown to appreciate the MAGIC in each moment, grasping it for what it is, and holding each experience close to my heart with eager anticipation of the next step in this blessed journey.

  1. #6 speaks to me — maybe that’s why I’m not a punctual personality. I need to be appreciated. Ha! By the way, I love the Star Trek reference. It’s not coincidence that I read your post at the same time the Star Trek tree came on and all of the ornaments spoke various greetings from the Enterprise, the Klingons and other denizens of the 24th century.

    Hugs, Tina

  2. What a nice post! Yes, I agree, MAGIC moments – we should cherish them, we should capture them, we should try to be more aware of them too, as they happen every day, just we need to open our hearts to them.
