Empowered Eating

Join local foods expert Tatiana Abatemarco of Mama Philosopher, and homesteader, gardener, and food preservationist Teri Page of Homestead Honey for a 4-week adventure in local food.

In this course, we will:

  • Explore local food ethics and discover your “why”
  • Create local food sourcing strategies and meal plans for your family
  • Join together in a supportive community as we undertake a two-week Local Food Challenge
  • Learn the basics of growing, preserving, and storing food via tutorials and videos

Who should sign up?

Anyone who is starting a local food journey, or who wants support to go deeper.  This course is designed to allow you to work at your own pace, and take on whatever level of challenge you’re ready for.

When does the course run?

The 4-week course will run August 25 – September 19.

How does it work?

Each week, you will be emailed course content.  Our private Facebook group and live chats will allow us to connect informally and offer support to one another.  A group Pinterest Board will help us gather and share seasonal recipes for local eating inspiration!
