I am a feeler.  Make no mistake about that.

I feel things deeply.

I think, I sense, I know, and I emote profoundly.

I often find myself overwhelmed with emotion, in fact.  It seems as though I feel on the verge of tears.

These are not tears of sadness…
Simply tears of emotion.
It’s as if I’m feeling so very much, some sort of escape must ensue.

Catharsis.

Now, I’m not much of a crier.  Yet, this does not dismiss the fact that I often feel as though I need to cry.

I’ve known, as well, for years that research has shown that each emotion we feel and express in the form of tears is comprised of a completely different chemical composition.

Looking at Tears Under a Microscope

Different types of tears have distinct molecules. Emotional tears have protein-based hormones including the neurotransmitter leucine enkephalin, which is a natural painkiller that is released when we are stressed. Plus, the tears seen under the microscope are crystallized salt and can lead to different shapes and forms.

Human kind is amazing.

He who created us is truly awesome.

I am overwhelmed with the Light of Life.
