The perfect and ever Sensational Summer Sammie

An open-faced take on the traditional BLT, this is oh, so much more.
With a crust made of sweet bell pepper, a layer of delicious, melt-in-your-mouth guacamole, a bit of lettuce, grilled chicken, pastured bacon (of course), and the most delicious heirloom tomatoes on earth – topped with sea salt – you enter into sandwich heaven.

Most BLTs involve mayo.  I say skip the mayonnaise, as I’ve never been a fan, and pile on more avocado!

The presentation is lovely – a plateful of color and texture.

I must warn you, though, this is a pretty darn messy finger food.

Make sure you lick every last morsel of deliciousness off your fingers…and even your chin!
