Dough is one of those things that is incredibly versatile in the kitchen.
Pie dough, bread dough, pizza dough…it can all be transformed into a plethora of delightfulness, both sweet and savory.
With my leftover pizza dough from last week, I whipped up a super simple cinnamon twist for breakfast – or dessert – or snack – or…you get the picture.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees, roll out the super easy pizza dough, slather with soft butter, cinnamon, sugar, and some chopped nuts, roll up into a long cylinder, and then twist and roll into your favorite cinnamon dough shape.
Drizzle with a little extra melted butter and sugar and you’re good to go.
20 minutes in the oven and you’re in any-time sweet heaven!
