It may no longer be Christmas morning, but honestly, these Sweet Cinnamon Orange Marmalade Chocolate Swirl “rolls” can be served at any time, on any day.

Yum!

Sweet Cinnamon Orange Marmalade Chocolate Swirl Bread

Dough:
1 pkg. active dry yeast (1/4 oz)
1 tsp. white sugar
1 cup warm water
2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cupĀ olive oil, divided
1 tsp. sea salt

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Dissolve the yeast and sugar in 1 cup warm water and let sit for 5 minutes.
Using a dough hook on a stand mixer (or by hand) combine the dissolved yeast mixture, flour, 2 Tbs. olive oil, and salt. Form into a nice dough ball. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Roll the dough out into a large circle or rectangle.

Filling:
1/2 cup Cinnamon Orange Marmalade
2 Tbs. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp. raw sugar

Spread the Cinnamon Orange Marmalade evenly over the dough, leaving about a 1″ border all around.
Dust with cocoa powder and sugar.
Roll the dough into a long cylinder. Slice the cylinder vertically, about 3/4 of the way from the bottom to the top. Twist and braid the two sides together and then twist again into a ball. Get creative.

Bake for about 30 minutes.

Serve warm, with butter.
