Presentation is highly important in my life.  That’s not to say that appearance is everything, but when things look better, they just feel better.  A clean house, a well designed display, organized drawers, closets, and cupboards, a tasteful outfit, and a plate of food.

Color is a huge part of artful and pleasing presentation.  Vivid, dynamic, exciting, and enticing.

I love the combination of sweet green peas with bright green basil – served with luscious red tomatoes, bell peppers of all varieties, and sweet love.

Sweet Peas

2 c. fresh or frozen peas (thawed, if frozen)
2-3 cloves oven roasted garlic (so roasted, the clove squeezes into caramelly mush)
1 small handful fresh basil leaves
sea salt – plenty to taste

Combine all ingredients into the food processor and whir until super sweet and smooth.

**Warning: While you may believe you’re simply sampling your creation with a taste or two – you may soon discover that the little taste has turned into a rapid consumption of the delectable batch in it’s entirety.  It’s that darn good!  More please…
