Sometimes I feel breakfast needs a little changeup. Bacon and eggs are welcome most mornings, as the wholesome warmth of a hot breakfast most often fits to please. Porridge happens from time to time at home, with a little added “superfood.” More often than not, a bit of leftover sustenance from the night before makes ends meet.

But when you need something a little different, come on board.

The tangy bite of the belly-good cultures inside Nancy’s Cottage Cheese makes you zing; the caramel smoke of powdered mesquite leaves you longing for more; and the sticky sweet dates, beguiling blend of nutmeg, and licorice-hinted love of fresh tarragon round out this morning (or anytime) bowl of ultimate lingual pleasure.

Tangy, Smokey, Sweet

1 cup Nancy’s Cultured Cottage Cheese
2 tsp. Essential Living Foods Mesquite Powder
1 sprinkling of freshly ground nutmeg
1 pitted date, chopped
2-3 tsp. fresh tarragon, chopped

Serve everything whipped up together in a beautiful bowl.

As said, that’s all there is to it!
