I’ve always been a fan of cold brew coffee – even before it was popular.
In fact, growing up, my dad would create a seemingly endless supply of the low acid chocolatey delight in preparation for his mother’s yearly visit.
The smell. The smoothness. It’s truly wonderful.
And then along came the K-Cup.
Freshly brewed…just then…just for you.
I like the idea of a single serving. No extras no mess. Or in other words, “no fuss, no muss.”
Yes, I quite like that.
Thus, with the opportunity to review CHEFMAN’s VersaBrew Single Serve Coffee Maker, I was as energized as a double shot.
The description of this counter top piece of magic includes the following:
- accepts both K-Cups and coffee grounds
- quick – coffee is just seconds away with the press of a button
- convenient – permanent filter included for use with coffee grounds
- spacious – makes up to 14oz. and fits most travel mugs (includes one)
Single Serve Made Easy!
As the name implies, the VersaBrew Single Serve Coffee Maker is truly a versatile unit, specially designed to accept all brands of K-Cups, as well as coffee grounds. With just the push of a button, the VersaBrew dispenses a cup of hot coffee quickly, easily, and efficiently – no levers to pull or complications to unravel. The VersaBrew is tall enough to use with almost all travel mugs, while a narrow profile helps save space on the counter. Stainless accents give this top of the line brewer a refined look, so it stands out from the pack in both looks and functionality.
Just like you.
I like the “just like you” part too.
Honestly, it was a winner for me, regardless of the tagline.
I like fast. I like easy. (Don’t get the wrong idea).
I like convenience.
AND I like good flavor.
I like steady heat in my brew – check mark.
I like easy clean up – check mark.
AND I like clutter free counters – check mark. This baby is small enough to pull out for my one or two cups of coffee I need, freshly brewed, and then after a quick rinse, I can shove the whole dealio back into the cupboard – hidden from the eyes of the beholder.
YES!
The VersaBrew is also quiet, which is a plus for me. I don’t like racket much of the time, but particularly in the morning when I crave my toasty brew, that silence is golden – just golden.
The size of the “single serving” brew is quite perfect too. 12 oz. NOT a measly 8 oz. and not a super grande 16 oz. Like Goldilocks – just right.
And, there’s even enough from for a splash of cream, MCT, or grass-fed ghee for those Bulletproof days!
Well done, CHEFMAN. Check mate!
Oh, and by the way, I tested the machine for both loose grounds use, K-Cup, AND hot water for tea.
Brilliant all the way around.
