Change is HARD.  It really is.  There’s no beating around the bush.

Even if we like change, transitioning from one routine, habit, or comfort to something new takes some adjustment.

And, when things in Life continually change, we may end up feeling somewhat “assaulted,” if you will.  It’s exhausting.  Even if for the better, it takes work and it’s hard!

That said, with all the HARD changes taking place in my Life these days, I have grown to realize over the years of my metamorphosis, that anything worthwhile in Life truly is HARD and truly does instigate a bit of fear, anxiety, and exhaustion.

But it’s worth it.  It’s SO worth it.

Change is hard. You’ve probably noticed that. We all want to become better people — stronger and healthier, more creative and more skilled, a better friend or family member.

Aside from the changes in Life that are beyond our control, there are also changes that we simply want and desire to make – and struggle with those as well.  Change is HARD.

Why is that?

Well, it has to do with what we believe about ourselves.
Of course it does!

To change your behavior for good, you need to start believing new things about yourself.

Most of the time, we try to achieve results before proving to ourselves that we have the identity of the type of person we want to become. It should be the other way around.

So, in order to make positive changes in our lives, regardless of the transitions, modifications, and Life adjustments swirling about and seemingly out of control all around us, we absolutely have the ability to change our minds ~ our beliefs.

Changing your beliefs isn’t nearly as hard as you might think. There are two steps.

1. Decide the type of person you want to be.

2. Prove it to yourself with small wins.

I have decided that I am truly Awesome.  This is my identity.  EVERYTHING about me is now, in this moment, absolutely awesome.  F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S.

How about you?
