Peanut Butter Fudge Brownie Pie
Peanut Butter Fudge Brownie Pie
1 cup white sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup all-natural smooth peanut butter, melted (+ 2 Tbs. for drizzling)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Sift together the dry brownie ingredients in a medium bowl. Meanwhile, in a smaller bowl, combine the melted butter and peanut butter, vanilla, and eggs.
Whisk until combined and then fold into the dry ingredients.
In a buttered pie plate, pour the mixture (it will be thick) and spread around to evenly disperse. With the remaining 2 Tbs. of melted peanut butter, create concentric dots about 1″ apart all around the pie, with 3 rings. Then, using a toothpick, drag the center of the hearts together around each circle – to create a design of “dragging hearts.”
Bake, uncovered for about 45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool for about 45 minutes before slicing into your peanut butter chocolate fudge brownie pie – if you can resist. I know I couldn’t resist that long - I had to get the ooey gooey fudgy chocolate into my mouth as soon as possible!
