Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies
“What do you think about making just basic chocolate chip cookies?”
“I guess I’m okay with that.”
But, when push comes to shove, I always have to do something a little different.
WE all love the marriage of peanut butter and chocolate, so let’s extend that to a classic chocolate chip cookie recipe.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies
1 cup butter, room temperature (2 sticks)
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. sea salt
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/4 cup peanut butter chips
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Cream together the butter, sugars, and eggs.
Add the vanilla, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt.
Mix until fluffy.
Add in the flour, 1/2 cup at a time and stir until well combined.
Fold in the chocolate and peanut butter chips.
Using a melon baller, scoop 1″ sized balls on to parchment lined cookie sheets and bake until golden brown on the edges, about 15-18 minutes.
Remove from the oven to cool slightly.
