Halloween Maple Almond Butter Peanut M&M Cookies



Halloween is traditionally a time for sweet treats – candy-coated bliss – or simply, CANDY.

The overly sweet succor of commercial candy isn’t for everyone.


And, with the COVID crisis, is Trick-or-Treating canceled?

Who knows?

Regardless, you need

 these Halloween Maple Almond Butter Peanut M&M Cookies in your life.
Relax – kick back – skip the costume party (or bring these with you) and pour a giant glass of milk. Feel free to double dip or dunk.





Halloween Maple Almond Butter Peanut M&M Cookies

8 Tbs. butter, room temperature
16 oz. smooth and creamy Maple Almond Butter (or almond butter + 2 Tbs. maple syrup)
3 large eggs
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. sea salt
2 cups all-purpose flour
10 oz. Milk Chocolate Halloween M&Ms
10 oz. Halloween Peanut M&Ms

 

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

 

Cream together the butter, almond butter, eggs, and sugars until light and fluffy.


Add the sugars, vanilla, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt. 

 

Cream again.


Add the flour, 1/2 cup at a time, until well combined.

 

Fold in the M&Ms.

 

Form into 1″ sized balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

 

Flatten with the back of a juice glass.

 

Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.

 

 

Cool, slightly. Devour, with ghoulish intent.
