Chocolate Slathered Pretzels 🎄

While most of us are familiar with the concept of chocolate-dipped pretzels for the holidays (or anytime, really), these tasty treats are actually pretty much the same, just richer and even more decadent! The chocolate “dip” becomes a chocolate ganache!

Chocolate Covered Pretzels

 

1 bag stick pretzels
10 oz. dark chocolate chunks
1/3 cup heavy cream
holiday sprinkles

 

Over very low heat, melt the chocolate and cream together, constantly stirring.

Once smooth, remove from the heat. 

 

Slather 2/3 of each pretzel in the chocolate ganache and immediately decorate with sprinkles.

Allow to cool and dry on a drying rack over parchment paper.
