Silky Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies
Everyone who knows me is fully aware, from deep down in their soul, that I like to give out all the sugar: sugar from and for the heart – but I like to give not only ephemeral sweetness but sweet treat desserts, as well.
I never arrive anywhere empty-handed, and if you’re invited over to the house (oh, so rare), I’ll force-feed you cookies!
It’s just who I am.
I believe in a happy heart, a happy soul, and a happy tummy!
Silky Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup butter, room temperature (1 stick)
14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
1 Tbs. cornstarch
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. sea salt
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chunks
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Cream together the butter and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
Add the sweetened condensed milk, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla, and salt.
Mix again until light and creamy.
Mix in the flour 1/2 cup at a time, until well combined.
Fold in the chocolate chunks.
Form into 1″ sized balls and place on parchment-lined baking sheets.
Flatten with the back of a juice glass.
Bake for 15-18 minutes, until gooey and golden brown.
Cool before transferring or devouring with a giant glass of milk.
YUM!!! 😋
