Chocolatey Chocolate Grape Cookies
You know how peanut butter and chocolate go together so well?
And you know the goodness of a PB&J sandwich, right?
Well, think of this as an amalgamation of the two: chocolatey chocolate AND grape jelly! It’s not a sandwich, but it’s a cookie! Feel free to slather with smooth peanut butter! 😋
Chocolatey Chocolate Grape Cookies
1 stick butter, room temperature
1 cup grape jelly
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
10 oz. dark chocolate chunks
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Cream together the butter, jelly, sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy.
Mix in the baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
Next, add the flour, 1/2 cup at a time.
Fold in the chocolate chunks.
Let the dough sit for 10 minutes.
Spoon 1” balls onto parchment-lined cookie sheets and bake for 10-13 minutes, until still soft, but baked through, with melting chocolate chunks.
Cool on the cookie sheet.
Dip in peanut butter to serve! You know, chocolate and peanut butter WITH grape jelly is something NO ONE can resist!
