Butter Pecan Brown Sugar Blondies
It’s been a minute since I baked anything – well, actually four days – but I couldn’t handle it!
I woke up and decided to create something with anything on hand.
Butter – ✅
Brown Sugar – ✅
Eggs – ✅
Pecans – ✅
Whipped together and baked into buttery, delicious, brown sugar “blondies,” these dessert bars are to die for!
Butter Pecan Brown Sugar Blondies
8 Tbs. butter, melted and slightly cooled
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. sea salt
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup pecans, chopped
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Line a square baking dish with parchment paper.
Mix together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, baking powder, and sea salt until sticky and well combined.
Fold in the flour until fully combined.
Fold in the pecans.
Transfer the sticky dough to the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 25 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Remove from oven and cool for several hours before slicing and serving.
These blondie treats (like a brownie, but without chocolate) are oh, so yummy! 😋
