Ginger Pear Parmesan Pastry Muffin Rolls
Puff pastry muffin rolls are not necessarily on everyone’s radar. We adore pastry pies, croissants, sweet rolls, etc. But these puff pastries are made with the unique sweet and savory combination of semi-sweet and spicy Pear, Honey, Ginger Conserves, tart mascarpone, and perfectly salty Parmesan cheese.
They are utterly delicious – especially when warm out of the oven.
Ginger Pear Parmesan Pastry Muffin Rolls
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
8 oz. mascarpone cheese
6 oz. Pear Honey Ginger Conserves
8 oz. Parmesan cheese
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Roll out the thawed pastry dough until 1/3 larger in size.
Evenly spread the mascarpone cheese over the rolled-out dough, leaving a ½” border around all edges.
Top with a layer of the Pear Honey Ginger Conserves.
Next, sprinkle with the parmesan cheese.
Slice the covered pastry dough into 2” wide lengths.
Line a muffin tin with paper muffin liners.
Roll each covered pastry length into a pastry roll-up and place into a muffin cup.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the pastry dough and parmesan are bubbling and beginning to brown.
Remove from oven and cool for as long as you can resist!
