Pork Queso Salsa Bread 

1 ½ tsp. quick-rise yeast
1 cup warm-hot water
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
¼ tsp. kosher salt
16 oz. fresh salsa
8 oz. Ranchero Queso Fresco, crumbled
1 lb. pulled, slow-cooker pork
16 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
fresh cilantro, to garnish

 

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

 

Combine 1 cup of very warm water with 1 ½ tsp. yeast and allow to bloom for 10 minutes.

 

Fold in the flour, salt, salsa, and queso fresco.

 

Transfer the mixture to a greased 8”x8” square baking dish.

 

Top with the cooked, pulled pork, and then the cheddar cheese.

 

Bake for 45-45 minutes, until the bread has cooked through, and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

 

Cool for 20-25 minutes before slicing and serving this amazing batch of comfort food, topped with fresh cilantro.
