I had all intentions for these Burger Crunch Wraps to look much more put together – perfectly round and browned, like those one we’ve all seen on TV. But, of course, I knew they would taste SO much better.
They did, taste amazing, of course, but the images are little less than perfect – kinda messy, in my opinion. I think my problem was that the tortillas were too small – just average size. So, when you make this for yourself, go for the extra large tortillas! More is better! 😀
Oh well, who doesn’t love a burger, some good cheese, and a little bit of crunch?

Burger Crunch Wraps

Burger Crunch Wraps

2 giant organic beef patties (ground beef mixed with salt and pepper and formed into patties)
2 extra large, giant, huge flour tortillas
2 Tbs. mustard
4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
1/3 cup pita chips (broken into smaller, manageable bite pieces)

Preheat the grill to extra hot AND the broiler in the oven to 500 degrees.

Line each tortilla with plenty of mustard and a slice of cheddar, as well as the pita chips.

Grill the burgers until medium rare, flipping once halfway through (you know how to grill a burger).

Top the cheese and pita chips with the grill burgers and add another slice of cheese. Fold over the sides of the giant, HUGE tortilla to encase the burgers completely and invert onto a foil lined baking sheet.

Transfer to the broiler and cook 1 minute or so, until the tortilla tops are crispy and brown.

Transfer to a serving plate and dig in!

Go ahead, add a little catsup and several pickles. That’ll make it super great.
