Maybe a “rerun” or re-visit to previous recipes, but I always do something just a little bit different!
And, who can go wrong with another beautiful and delectable batch of gooey Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Banana Bread!?! 🐵🍌🍫🥜🙊

Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Banana Bread

4 Tbs. butter, melted and cooled
3 super ripe bananas
2 large eggs

1/3 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. sea salt
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup dark chocolate chunks

1 cup peanut butter chips
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Combine the melted butter with the ripe bananas (peeled, of course). Mash well.
Whisk in the eggs, cream, and sugar, stirring until well combined.
Stir in the baking soda, vanilla, and salt.
Fold in the flour and chocolate and peanut butter chips (and walnuts).
The batter will be thick – halfway between cake and cookie dough.

Line a bread pan with parchment paper.

Transfer the dough to the pan and bake for about 45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cool for several hours before slicing and serving.

I LOVE to slather fresh ground peanut butter on MY banana bread, especially with chocolate!!! (Even if it already has peanut butter chips – you can NEVER have too much peanut butter!)
