“What special meals will your mom prepare while you’re in town visiting?”

“She’s spoiling me today with butter noodles and chamomile tea!”

“Wow! That’s a really interesting combination,” I said. “I’m going to have to make that and blog it!”

“Oh no, not together. 😂🤣😂🤣 Just plain buttered noodles and I’m drinking chamomile tea!”

“Oh! Hahahahahah. I think I’m going to make it anyway.”

And so I did.

Lemon Chamomile Butter Noodles

1 recipe homemade noodles
4 Tbs. butter, room temperature
juice and zest of 1 fresh lemon
1-2 tsp. dry chamomile tea
sea salt and pepper
shredded Parmesan cheese

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook the fresh pasta for 3-5 minutes. Drain.
Return to the pan and add the butter, stirring and melting over very low heat.
Stir in the lemon, chamomile, and salt and pepper.
Sprinkle with cheese, if desired, and serve up giant plates!
That’s what you do with buttered noodles, you know!
