After seeing photos of these carb-fat-bomb comfort food sandwiches all over the inter webs, it came upon me that I needed to try this golden gem of a sammie.
Think about it – the two best comfort foods on the face of the earth: Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and homemade grilled cheese ON homemade sourdough bread.
You’re sitting cozy on the couch in your jammies, armed with a glass of milk, a blanket, and feelings of goodness. Your mac n’ cheese is now smooshed inside your grilled cheese.

Best day ever, right?

Rather than a recipe, I can give you recommendations and insight.
Accomplishing the task of “gluing” the cheesy noodles in between two pieces of buttery bread is NOT easy. Be kind to yourself. Add a little more cheddar and just enjoy the experience.

And, don’t skimp on the fact that in order to truly reminisce and comfort your heart and soul, you’re just going to have to bite the bullet and choose Kraft over any other mac n’ cheese.

Finally, if you’re not full on full, add a can of Campbell’s Tomato Soup as a side dish!
