It’s simple, really.
A little homemade strawberry jam – whisked into a traditional Artisan Bread recipe.
Served piping hot, with a whole lot of lemon zest whipped butter.

Yum.
Delicious.
Exquisite.
Somewhat evil…you just can’t stop.
But, heavenly nonetheless.

Strawberry Artisan Bread:
Easy Artisan Bread
1 cup Quick Strawberry Jam

6 Tbs. butter, room temperature
zest of 1 lemon

Follow the directions for the Easy Artisan Bread, stirring in 1 cup Quick Jam once you’ve added the yeast mixture. Allow to sit and rise for 2 hours. Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes, or so.

Zest one lemon into the softened butter and stir well.

Make sure to serve the bread warm so that the the lemon butter just oozes in…
