It’s been a while since I entertained and discussed my affection for Wild Zora.
REAL food for REAL people. (REAL Life).
That’s what I’m all about.

And that’s what Wild Zora is all about too.

Four years after launching our first products, Zora met Dawn Anderson, Co-Founder of Paleo Meals To Go at a networking group in Northern Colorado for women entrepreneurs. It didn’t take long to discover there was a lot of synergy regarding our company goals and missions: we were a small, family business making dehydrated snacks from real meat & vegetables — they were a small family business making dehydrated whole meals from real meat & vegetables. Partnering with Paleo Meals to Go was an obvious choice when we decided to expand our product line; their commitment to using only real food ingredients with no added chemicals or preservatives aligned perfectly with our mission and our existing customer base. So in early 2018 Wild Zora acquired Paleo Meals To Go, and now together we’re providing healthy, tasty, and convenient snacks AND meals to consumers across the country.

Once I discovered this partnership, my heart began to swell and I just knew I needed to know more – to taste more! I was Craving4More.

“We all deserve to eat healthier and be happier!”
And Zora makes it so easy!

Not only does Wild Zora continue to create organic meat and veggie snacks for those of us on the go (or simply needing a quick, tasty energy fix), but now the company is offering MEALS to go. REAL food to go.

“Real Food for Real Life.”

It’s quick. It’s easy. And, it’s incredibly delicious.

Can life get any easier? We’re all real, aren’t we?

Whether you’re backpacking in the great outdoors, globetrotting abroad, or are just pressed for time and need a quick fix, dive into a bowl of Paleo stew. No prep, dishes, or mess. Just wholesome, delicious backpacking food for your outdoor adventures.

The whole thing is pretty amazing, right?

I was blessed with the opportunity to taste and devour ALL the varieties – sweet and savory:

  • Cliffside Coconut Berry (my favorite, of course – oh, those berries!)
  • Butte Cacao Banana (my second fav…yummy cacao)
  • Palisade Pineapple Mango

These “breakfast” varieties (which I did not devour for breakfast, but actually as an after dinner snack) brought me back to sweet heaven. Actually, the Paleo, grain-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, organic bowls are not too sweet – they are just right! They are perfect for this Goldilocks.
The texture is mealy, something that’s rather important to me, and the taste is incredible. Like I said, not too sweet, but just sweet enough to make my heart sing. The most surprising attribute, however, is the mild flavor. I actually expected the fruit flavors to pop a little more – considering the vibrancy they display in the package. But they are mild, subtle, and still sublime.

Oh, and did I mention all you need to do is add water and you can eat right out of the bag! No dishes to be done…that’s my kind of meal!

  • Mountain Beef Stew
  • Caldera Chicken Curry
  • Summit Savory Chicken

These guys are also absent of nightshade…thank you, Zora, for those of us needing AIP Friendly foods.

Again, texture is important to me, and for a quick, freeze dried meal on the go, Wild Zora has done a tremendous job. TONS of veggies, lots of meat, and lots of nutrition.

I liked the Caldera Chicken Curry the best. The meal filled me with fuel and also with a little fantastical amalgamation of traveling to one of my favorite places (actually, no where near the curry consuming countries, but in my own Colorado backyard, in the mountains, below the quivering Aspen trees, on a crisp fall day).

I digress. Although I enjoyed my Wild Zora Paleo Meals to Go in the comfort of my own home, I almost found myself planning a backpacking trip merely for the opportunity to pack these snacks again and simply eat on the go!

Well done, Wild Zora.

You’ve hit the ball out of the park on this one.
