While most of us are familiar with the concept of chocolate dipped pretzels for the holidays (or anytime, really), these tasty treats are actually pretty much the same, just richer and even more decadent! The chocolate “dip” becomes a chocolate ganache!

Chocolate Covered Pretzels

1 bag stick pretzels
10 oz. dark chocolate chunks
1/3 cup heavy cream
holiday sprinkles

Over very low heat, melt the chocolate and cream together, constantly stirring.
Once smooth, remove from the heat. Slather 2/3 of each pretzel in the chocolate ganache, immediately decorate with sprinkles.
Allow to cool and dry on a drying rack over parchment paper.
