Well, sometimes ugly IS beautiful – or at leasts tastes beautiful.
I had the best intentions in mind: a flavorful and aromatic olive tapenade wrapped inside a chewy and fragrant freshly baked loaf of sourdough.
It truly did “work,” but the visual wasn’t as spectacular as I’d hoped.

Ugly Olive Tapenade Sourdough Bread

1 recipe Stay at Home Sourdough
1/2 cup olive tapenade
sea salt and pepper

Follow the directions for the Stay at Home Sourdough, folding in the olive tapenade on the just before the last rising.

Slather with butter or make into an Italian sandwich – whatever you do, enjoy!
