I dream and drool at the spicy aroma of chai tea.
Cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves, allspice, nutmeg…
So good. SO GOOD!
My mouth is watering.

(And, these are cookies I’m eventually describing, come on – with both chocolate and white chocolate chips!)

My hubby, on the other hand, simply does not care for “the taste of Christmas.”
He scoffs at the smell and the taste of cinnamon spice.
I can’t bring myself to understand or comprehend this unbelievable mystery of a human. How is it possible NOT to LOVE this flavor?

Well, we move on. I love him anyway and accept him for all that he is – clove and ginger scoffing aside πŸ˜‰.

But, on this particular day in my baking kitchen, I ran short on time and needed Mr. B. to remove the last batch of cookies from the oven. I was out the door just a few moments too soon.

I set an alarm and asked for him to remove the sweets just when the time was right.

Once I arrived at my destination safely, I texted him, just to make sure the deed had been done – and all things were good:

I guess “Mikey likes it!” πŸ˜‰ (Including white chocolate – he really doesn’t enjoy THAT either!).

Thus, these cookies are clearly MAGIC! βœ¨πŸ’«πŸŒŸ
