Green Chile Cheddar Breakfast Bake

4 large slices seeded sourdough, torn into small pieces
6 large eggs
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup green chile sauce
2 Tbs. butter, chopped into small pieces
½ tsp. sea salt
¼ tsp. freshly ground pepper

2 Tbs. fresh chives, chopped

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Line a bread loaf pan with parchment paper.

Mix together all the ingredients (minus the chives) in a large bowl.
Soak for 20-30 minutes.

Transfer the soaked mixture to the prepared loaf pan.

Bake for 45 minutes, until fragrant and golden brown.

Cool for 1-2 hours before slicing and serving.

Top with fresh chives.
